Quality child care matters to all of us. But when it comes to discussions about making child care work better, the people with the most at stake aren’t usually at the table. That’s changing in the District of Columbia, thanks in part to the airing of “Stronger Start: Building Better Child Care.”
This original docuseries from DCTV and the Bainum Family Foundation brought together providers, advocates, local leaders and families to talk about how the D.C. community can build better, more accessible and more affordable child care. It’s about putting new ideas on the table and energizing the community to start different conversations about child care.
All six episodes aired on DCTV cable and YouTube channels during April and May and are now available for viewing at dctv.org/strongerstart.
