In Memory: Marcus Gray

It is with profound sadness that we share the news that our friend and colleague Marcus Gray passed away on September 6, 2020. Marcus had been with the Bainum Family Foundation for eight years, serving in a number of program and community engagement roles, culminating in his recently announced position of Senior Manager, Equity, Inclusion and Community Engagement.

Marcus came to the Foundation from Turning the Page, where he was Director of Program Operations, and before that, Higher Achievement, where he was Director of Scholar Services. Marcus received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and a Master of Business Administration degree in Leadership and Finance from Walden University.

We will remember Marcus for his deep commitment to our work, his spirit of camaraderie and collaboration, and his sense of humor. Services for Marcus will be held in his hometown of Jackson, Mississippi.
